How tuition works
What sets tuition, what it covers and how to end it.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on who is training (a child, a teen, an adult or a family) and how many classes a week. We give it to you in writing at the first class, before you sign anything.
Mini Osu, kids, teens, adults or family
Classes a week
One person or several from one household
Registration
Registration covers the student's file, their first uniform and their white belt. It is due when you start, and we tell you how much in writing before you sign.
Holding a place
Your place is held once registration and the first month are set up. When a class is full, you join its waitlist and we offer places by text, in the order families asked.
Billing
Monthly, collected automatically on the day you choose. To change a card or a day, send the front desk a message.
More than one family member
A second family member is set up under the same agreement and the same bill. We explain it in writing before you sign.
Withdrawing
Tuition is paid month to month. To cancel, write to us with 30 days' notice, by email or at the front desk; the month in progress is billed. We can pause a membership for travel, an injury or a new baby: ask before you go.
Missed classes and make-ups
If a student misses a class, they can make it up in another class for their age. Send the front desk a message before you come.
Uniforms and other costs
The first uniform and the white belt come with registration. Later belts, sparring gear and belt tests are charged separately, and we tell you in writing first.
Ask us anything about tuition
Your first class is a good time to talk it through, in Spanish or English.
